Democracy is the engagement by the citizenry in the political process, so that the decision-making process of governance can best serve the social-economic, political and security needs of the nation.
An educated, well-informed public is a mainstay of the American democratic process.
Only through building a well-informed Public American Constituency can we offset any potential pernicious meddling of hardliners in our political decision-making, implement America's officially proclaimed, constructive plans, for independent, viable and democratic Two-States, save innocent Palestinian and Israeli lives, enforce our moral founding principles, and protect our national security and economic interests abroad.
The mission of APPAF is clear, realistic and precisely focused. Its Newsletter is neutral, objective and written to reflect all diverse and opposed viewpoints. The objective is to appeal to you as the equitable ultimate judge. Within that objective the views expressed by the authors of published articles do not necessarily reflect those of APPAF.
Israel is adept at manipulating the American political process in its favor through the influence of its Jewish American Constituency. Palestinian Americans count no more than three hundred thousand US citizens. They cannot build an effective constituency. They need to team up with the American public.

Nothing short of building a pro-active public American Constituency for implementing an equitable US sponsored two-state solution can bring about peace and stability to Palestine and Israel and to the world in general.

Read APPAF Newsletter with an open mind. Analyze who is for and who is against an equitable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Understand the pragmatic approaches and unrealistic fantasies of advocating an equitable solution.
Most importantly think of what role is America playing in the conflict, how the consequences of that role are affecting our lives, our vital economic and security concerns; how the manipulation of our political decision-making process to perpetuate the conflict by hardliners is eroding the fabric of our founding principles, and undermining our prestige and world leadership.
Think how we the American public, collectively and with one voice, can play a constructive role in advocating and promoting the equitable solution without turning to use of empty rhetoric and impotent arguments and allegations.
