We need to move on. 

There is a very big task ahead of us in counterbalancing the very affluent, influential and very active pro-Israel constituency. Failure to realize that, and failure to unite and move on as one single constituency, is unhealthy to the cause of peace in the Holy Land, unhealthy to our founding principles and our rights of citizenry, unhealthy to our economic and security interests.    (read more)

When President Bush sold the " Iraqi war to Congress and the American people, a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was perceived on the Middle East horizon -----  a dividend for our removal of the despot and Israel 's enemy, Saddam Hussein. A plan to accomplish this worthy goal was at hand.

 Britain's Tony Blair, needing a rationale to persuade Parliament to participate in the alliance with the U.S., persuaded BUSH to support the "road map" — a peace plan, also supported by the U.N., E.U. and Russia, that laid out a series of actions that both Israel and Palestine would take in tandem that would lead to a Palestinian state living in peace side- by-side with Israel....(read more)

One Constituency and One Voice

The United States’ official position on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is a side-by-side two-state solution.  A strong one-voice American constituency, actively lobbying the administration, is the only way to encourage a decisive move for an equitable settlement.  The time is ripe to unite activists’ forces and rally them around the noble cause of PEACE in the Middle East. (read more)

 

The Power of Constituency

We have qualified our mission in support of the official US position that draws its qualification from UN Security Council Resolutions 242, 338 and 194.

Within this framework, we will work to demand IMPLEMENTATION.

And demanding implementation cannot come through lectures, emails, petitions, op/Eds, support for democrats, support for republicans or support for independent candidates. It can only come from a pro-active united Constituency with lobbying powers. (read more)
