APPAF is a (501 C 3) non-partisan, non-profit, public American organization.
Its mission and objectives are to educate and inform the American public about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and to highlight the conflict's untoward threatening consequences to the vital security and economic interests of the US, as well as to those of the Palestinians and the Israelis alike.

APPAF objective is to create a well educated, well-informed, and sharply focused public American CONSTITUENCY that can effectively advocate and support the equitable official US position for a Two-State solution that is built on implementing all pertinent UN Resolutions for two-states, with emphasis on the US position for a viable, independent and democratic Palestinian state, side by side with Israel, and with US guarantees of safety, security and economic viability of the two-states.

This approach is built on the internationally well-known fact that the decision-making process for equitable solution of the conflict, and for enforcing its implementation lies in Washington, DC, and not in Tel-Aviv or Ramallah. Only a pro-active public American Constituency that is well-informed, well coached about the advantages of an equitable solution to America's best interests, can politically sway the US representatives to forge ahead with the implementation.

APPAF prods the Israeli and Palestinian sides to implement all plans in support of an equitable peaceful resolution, including a future federation of Israel and Palestine built on the model of the US federation.
